Home Whois Lookup
DNS lookup
readyLive RDAP-based whois for any domain: registrar, registration and expiry dates, nameservers, contacts (where public). Direct browser-to-rdap.org.
How it works
This tool queries the rdap.org bootstrap RDAP service. RDAP is the modern replacement for whois - structured JSON, fully supported on TCP/443 with CORS. Queries go directly from your browser to rdap.org; this site does not log them.
FAQ
Where do the whois results come from?
rdap.org bootstrap service which routes the request to the appropriate registry RDAP endpoint. Queries go directly from your browser; this site does not log them.
Why does it fail on some TLDs?
Some country-code TLDs (.ae, .sa, .qa, .om, .bh) do not publish RDAP yet. They return 404. Use the registry website (e.g., aeda.ae for .ae) for those.
Why is contact data redacted?
Most registrars redact registrant contact details under GDPR / data-protection rules. Public fields show registrar, status, dates, and nameservers.
How is RDAP different from whois?
RDAP returns structured JSON instead of free-text whois. Easier to parse, supports internationalised domain names, and runs over HTTPS with CORS support.
Does this save my inputs?
Last query persists in localStorage. The query is sent to rdap.org; nothing is logged on JustKit.
